 Post subject: Pickups in E/W Basses

Does anyone know what kind of pickups E/W put into the basses in '84? In my 23 or so yrs playing, I have never before seen an 18 volt set of P/U's. Mick, You forgot to tell me how loud this thing is with fresh batts in it.
