I was going to ask this at the "other" site, but they seemed like they couldn't stand anyone that likes Electras. I got a Westone bass and the bridge p/u doesn't work. I have looked at the wires in the cavity and on the p/u's and they look fine....no loose ones floating around. The switches and knobs don't make any noise when flipped or turned. Any Ideas? I got a wiring diagram for the "other" site.

first start by connecting jumper wires directly to the pickup leads. See if that gives you a signal. If not, disconnect the pickup leads and try again. If it's still dead, you've got a bad pickup. If it's ok, then the problem is with the wiring. For instance, 3-way switches are notorious for going out.

If the pickup is bad, it could be that it got overheated and the insulation shorted out, or possibly the windings got nicked or damaged by something. If so, some people have had luck by examining the pickup windings with a magnifying glass and then unwinding them from the outside in until they find the break in the windings.
