I was checking out an ebay auction for an x260 when I noticed the serial number had been scratched/gauged out from the back of the head stock. It looks like it was delibret. The vendor has good feedback and I do not intend to cast any aspursions on them. However, is there any good reason for removing a serial number? :-?

I decided not to bid despite the good price on a nice guitar.
