Trizapp just listed this on e-bong. It would have been nice if he/she let you know.

Thank you for your help.

Yes, i did list this on eBay - I work in a pawn shop and i really did not know what type of Electra it was - especially considering i have never heard of the company.

Thanks again.

Hi - I'm new to the Electra forum. I'm a big vintage Ibanez fan and I'm looking for a tele. How good is this tele? Should I be concerned that it's not a late 70's Electra?

Thanks,
Michael

Heh, you should not be worried. These are excellent guitars. From the evidence so far, there's a good chance they were made by Fujigen same as Ibanez were.

I have one of the semi hollow tele deluxes and if you are looking for a tele they play like a dream.

Would that be the 2270c model?

Close. The 2270c is mahogany with 'chestnut' which I think is probably a butterscotch finish over the mahogany. This one is a 2253W with ash and clear finish.

I was referring to the semi-hollow tele mentioned by fishcampfreddy.

GAH! I've been looking for one of these for years! I hope it's not sold off the 'bay yet!
