where can i find the serial number on my x935? it is an 82 model with the anniversary brass plate on the headstock. would it be under the plate?

As I understand it, the Serial Number is on the brass plate itself, see example:




(from a recent eBay auction... don't know how long the link will be good for)

This is #0160 which was sold by dave_g not too long ago. Post a picture of your plate if you get the chance, I hope this helps, Mike.

okay, thank you. i wasn't sure if it was going to be the plate number or if they had something different on the body somewhere mine is 0039

Mike.....The 935x Pro Endorsers have a regular serial number also (regular place -back of headstock centered gold numbers) This number is different and doesnt seem to have any relationship to the number on the brass plate....

I didn't know that there was a printed S/N also... is it seven digit? That could date the month of manufacture.
