I got this guy a few weeks ago. Missing the MPC door, pickguard, busted switches and pickup rings. The battery leads for the MPC modules were also torn out. So... newLes Paul pickguard (slight mod) Gibson arch top pup ring, Lexan control cavity covers and new switches - That's about all I can do I guess. FWIW import tele top hat switches will fit the many busted batwings out there - if you don't want to replace the whole switch.ImageImageImageImageImage

I saw that one but passed it up. Nice job on the covers. I like the fact that you can see which modules are in the bays. Looks like a keeper now. Thanks for bringing her back to life. How does she sound?

She sounds good and plays well. Been knocked around pretty well. Lots of dings and scratches but nothing actually missing or structurally unsound. If I had any experience at all with refinishing this guitar could be brought back to really nice shape. As it is, it's pretty good and I'm real pleased I could get the MPC working and the switches restored. :) :) I like the clear covers too! Pretty handy and just kind of neat to look at the innards!

Nice resurrection! How does the neck feel? Some of the Vulcans have been described as 'Chunky', which is out of character for most of the Electra Offerings. Thanks for saving her, Mike.
