Two instances of 2257's showing up

This isn't listed in the model index that I could find. Natural blonde finish, It is very similar to the bolt on 2258 super magnum with the lower pickup selector switch location and maple fretboard (Block inlays on the 2257), except the 2257 has mini humbuckers and no carving on the body.

Wonder if we should grab some pictures for the index? Electra had so many models, who could keep up with that? Mike.

I have too many projects!

I've seen reference to a 2257 slim acoustic and a pic of an LP style (JD's) 2257. I'd like to get the "orphaned" 2257's in the spreadsheet categorized somewhere. Any info, pic etc. on this model would be great.

The 2257 was a bolt-on LP, end of story. The one's I've noted had mini-humbuckers, although JD has one with full size humbuckers on it. They look basically just like a 2258 (with the lower pickup switch) Blonde without the fancy carving. There are probably other models not on the Index too... we may never know all the different models that were offered! Mike.
