There is a gentleman in St. Pete that has the same guitar with a nicer flame top and an intact headstock - much nicer shape than mine. He loves it - doubt he'll part with it any time soon, right Warren??

The Invicta was my first and still my favorite Electra. When players pick it up - they don't want to put it down. It is truly the most comfortable guitar I have ever played. The stock pick ups are tops too.
Love the pics! Thanks for posting

I found another one that is in almost new condition. I'd like to keep both, but I'm walking a thin line at home gear-wise these days! I'm also picking up PA gear for my band (I swore I wasn't going to do that) and have sold a Marshall half stack and a Bluesbreaker clone to pay for that stuff.

Have a good one!

This exact Guitar is for sale again, guy in Mississippi. Would like to know why he's selling it after such a short time.

I saw that too. No clue why he's selling it. The guitar sounds and plays great, so I doubt it's a performance issue.

Could be buyers remorse or the economy maybe. I can't believe it would be a playability or sound issue as these models sound and play great.

I agree, there's no telling why. I bought several guitars over the last few months and have turned around and sold most of them because I decided to buy PA and lighting gear for my band and need the cash. Similar situation where I didn't have them long - nothing to do with the guitars, just timing and economics. In fact I've got a '82 Anniversary Pro Endorser for sale that I'm listing way below what I paid for it and I only had it a couple months. It's a great guitar and I'll lose money on it, but it was an impulse buy and now I need the money...

And I thought I was the only one. I have very poor control of my impulses and yet I always need money. Think there's a link between the two? You Betcha!

Aardy,

I have been looking at that pro endorser and bought one of your other guitars not so long ago (x420). Wish I had the money for your other guitar but just can't pull the trigger right now. Anyway, thanks for the x420.

Chris
