Got it strung with Rotosound Swing Bass strings today.
A quick install without touching the neck or intonation and man this thing sounds great!
Everything works cleanly and BOTH modules are FULLY functional! YEA!!!!!
Still the slightest bit of noise in the jack but it keeps getting less so the more I play it.
Just have to play the snot out of it for a while, LOL
I've got to say I am pretty enamored with this fine instrument and makes me appreciate the gift even more so.
I'll have to get my coworker and his family a gift card for dinner at a nice restaurant even though it doesnt add up to his extreme generosity.
