2009... so what has transpired in the last three years? Haven't heard too much about it. Would hope that he goes with a stop tailpiece, those wrap-arounds just don't do it for most players. One of the hallmarks of Electra were the electronic options (coiltap and phase switches) as well as their Value (bang for the buck). Lets hope he keeps these things in mind. Also, we still see SLM products using the Electra name on Crate guitars, I don't know if these are ten years old, or recent offerings, but you have to wonder if they will be ok with someone using the name and logo?

Plan was Imports and USA's......including updated modules.

SLM doesn't own the name any longer.....Ben does. But...all the legal stuff is way more of a Headache and money siv than
you might imagine. Just as soon as you think everything is clear.......another company has to jump in and play some silly
issue that you have to dig in your pocket to get through.
