Two more videos recently added, first up a Semi Hollow clip featuring my 2266 Burgundy Pro, tell me if you can spot the musical theme:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCf-BtZLSqM

Next, I've been wanting to do a Outlaw clip for awhile and finally got to it, crammed with lots of Jimmy Page riffs:

I was able to wear a couple of the new Electra Tee Shirts in these, Hope you enjoy, Mike.

Here is a quick Video I threw together after ElectraFest was over. It gives you an idea of how many guitars were there and the nice layout that Randy had provided for us this year:

I really should have spent more time documenting the guitars, but it's tough to resist the temptation of plugging one in and playing! Mike.

I was really surprised when you panned into a second room with even more guitars;

Good job Mike.

I posted a couple videos recently, first a showcase of my four MPC guitars:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIf2Mo2gCic

Also uploaded a quick demo of the Futura that I bought without any Electronics or rear covers:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCEmn5ecY7s

Also check out the ElectraFest video with around 80 guitars in one place! Thanks, Mike.

Another video offering for your perusal, this time its a well loved 2270 thinline from the early 70's:

Special thanks to McB who figured out how to imbed videos into a post!

Which amp are you playing the thinline thru Mike?

P.S. Great job Mick on figuring out the embedded video.

As the reigning king of video embedment (over at Westone, that is) I heartily endorse this means of sharing clips. However...

I feel compelled to note that embedding videos does indeed put added stress on the bandwidth a thread uses, hence bogging down page loads, etc. As much as I love doing so, I do not embed videos there anymore at the request of our "nuts & bolts" guy there (Barry) who discovered this price to be paid in utilizing this function.

Whether or not it becomes an issue in the future here or not remains to be seen but... just sayin'.

9 times out of 10 Mike's going to be playing through a vintage Mesa Boogie. Probably a Mk. IIB or something like that. Even though I know he's got at least one other option!

I used the Hardwood Mark III in the bottom right corner of the frame on this video. It's one of the last 50 made, and has all the options except for the export transformer. Weighs a ton and doesn't get used as much as it deserves.

The Amp in the center is a Mustang V, which is a whole new world for this dyed in the wool Tube Snob. I paid $180 for the head, and then found a stereo cab for $100 on CraigsList, thought I did pretty good! I don't know how well it would hold up over years of use Live, but it has a lot of useful tones and I'm liking it.

If the videos end up bogging the website down, I'll certainly take them off. Here's my latest video, I'll warn Ice not to watch it in front of his wife, the X935 collection:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEN3GQMdDgg

Cheers, Mike.

Hey all, haven't posted this on this thread...if you've seen it before, pardon the shameless promo!
Hope you dig the X940 in action...the second guitar I ever had and still love it.
Hmmm, hope I put the right info in the link - I'll try it 2 ways:
