Just figured out the Electra's have a different radius, my 940 is definitely at 12" and i think the 310 is 14 or 15

My X340 and X330 MPC's are completely different;

The X340 has a slimmed down neck;

The X330 is more like a '58 LP neck - really fills your hand.

Both play extremely well with great action and intonation.

310 60s and 940 50s profile , strange that the 3 series are different from one to the other unless the years are too

Electra's fretboards were most likely hand finished to a fair degree. It doesn't take sanding much to change a 12" radius to a 14".

You wouldnt be sanding free hand would have to be with a radius sanding block

Yes but you can still get some variation.

You should check out Rickenbacker production there is more hand work than any production electric guitars and the fret board radius are very uniform. They are a co that had strict dimensions and didn't change neck specs though out a run of production.
