Do all early Electras have a serial number tag on the headstock? I'm looking at a Super Rock, early '70s, but it has no serial number. Also, how is the value affected when then tuners are replaced? The owner of this guitar replaced the stock tuners with grovers.

Set neck Electra's frequently had a foil sticker with a place to write or stamp the model number and the serial number. It is not unusual for the sticker to be missing or some of the info left off the sticker.

Provided the tuners were properly installed (i.e. fit the existing holes or had the old holes plugged and refinished) there should be not impact on the price. If the installation was not good, knock off what it would cost to correct.
