Can't wait to get my hands on it.

The x810 is one of my favorite Electras. Although the sunburst is awesome, I would really love to own a blonde example. Those don't come up very often in great shape and when they do, they are snatched up quickly.

There's been a blonde popping up on eBay a few times lately that looked pretty nice except for you can see where it obviously used to have a bigsby on it. The dark sunburst really caught my eye though. I've been kind of obsessed with them lately so I thought that would be the way to go for my second Electra. Plus my super rocks a blonde and I need some variety.

I know that seller, Justone Guitars. He's a great guy. Really into KISS. I mean REALLY into KISS.

I was asking him questions about an Electra tele he had on Reverb. We got to talking and he was trying to sell me his autographed Gene Simmons cod piece. He really liked that thing for some reason. He had Paul Stanley autograph his lower back and then had it tattooed in! Which is weird because it's kind of like a tramp stamp.

You need to ask him about the time he partied with Paul and woke up with him in the limo, lol! Crazy, crazy, crazy nights in the late 80's.

Anyhow, tell him that Chad says hi.

Wow! I'll have to bring that up after the 810's safe in my hands.

Please do that, tell him that Chad mentioned it so that he knows how you know! He'll tell you all about it, funny stuff. Maybe ask him "so tell me about waking up with Paul Stanley in the limo"!

Alright. I was gone for the weekend when my X810 was delivered and got home late, ripped the package open and got to play around with it a little but I finally was able to plug in tonight and really check this thing out and I LOVE it. It plays and sounds great. The electronics seem to work with no static. I'm very happy with it. I do wish it came with instructions though. But I'll figure it out in time. A couple of things I'm going to want to address on it though. The binding has come loose a little on the top side of the neck. About an inch or so long and I can actually slide a pick between the binding and the neck. Fortunately it hasn't cracked yet. Any suggestions on what type of glue to use? Also the pick-up covers are pretty corroded. I'm going to take them off and see if I can clean them up or maybe replate them.
I love the phaser module but it's the only module it came with so I'll be looking to pick up another. Any suggestions on which module to get if I were to get only one more? I currently have an MXR Distortion +, a Flanger, a Chorus, and a Tube Screamer for floor pedals.
I'd appreciate any input.
