The Quantum catalogue info is here -
Click Here

I have a Quantum and love it (Except when I try to play it sitting down!) Originally it was missing the cover plate for the tuners - I've got it now, but no screws. Does anyone know what size/thread screw/bolt I need for it?

My first bass is a mystery tele/precision i bought for $40. i made a post about it in the identification fourm. It was beat and covered with stickers, and didn't work, so I hot rodded it with parts from a local stores tech. I installed a gibson style switch, a Fender lace jazz pick up at the bridge, and made a Humbucker with two Jazz pickups at the neck. I also replaced a tuner with a real Fender tuner, On the low E string. It hung right past the neck and could only use three screws. I played this for 3 years through a Ampeg V4B and SVT cab. Sometimes people thought it was a real vintage Fender because of the headstock.

Later, I upgraded to a 77 Ibanez Challenger Jazz bass and when the V4b was stollen, a '69 SVT head. I still play this bass and its a great instument. These days I play a Rick 4003 in fireglo that I bought new about 5 years ago.

I also have a Westone Concord II electric guitar, blue with white pickgaurd, its way cool looking and a great player. A Korean Washburn D10 accoustic that plays and sounds great, a miserable Kramer Striker 300, and an out of commision Aria bolt on neck 12 string accoustic that I would like to reserect. It has a trapieze style tail piece with stress fractures that failed. It has an amber burst finish.

Well I have a Super Headless (the oak version), and a Quantum, the latter one works fine but it's a bit used and battered. The first is my pride and joy; looks like new. On the other hand, the Quantum is easier to play for the snarelengt is shorter so they are 'light' to the thouch...
Started Westone because I'm a headless fan; only one more to go...

I am no a bass player but if I wanted to learn I would certainly check out one of these!

They certainly look awesome;

As my memory may or may not serve me - I believe I may have seen these at one time or another back in the 80's; I definitely remember the Rail from somewhere.

Anyone who owns one is lucky. :up: 8)
