I see there is no come quick ready for provenance for this purple guitar. That's ok. I wouldn't want his cooties anyway.

Still, anyone know why anyone would want to paint it purple? It's a weirdo. Who does finishes this professional?

I think it was Detroit, MI if i remember correctly.? Any bands from there?

I agree with the Auto paint - Detroit brings Ted Nugent to mind. People re-paint guitars all the time.

The sticker says: "Adjusted at SLM something , with logo, and is some kind of 60th year anniversary year dating to 1982.

It is placed on a removable panel.
