My two favorite models are X930 & X910, love the neck on this one! I ordered some of that Eternashine, can't wait to try it out.

What value volume does it have, mine had incorrectly installed a 50k not 500k like it should have been. Changing it was like taking a blanket of the amp it was playing though.

I haven't looked but pretty much all of my 10 or so MPC's had I think 500K on Vol/Tone and an oddball value like 300K or something on MPC controls. I'm pretty sure of this but I'll look at some point.

I would be surprised if all of them had 500k pots and you didn't get one with the substituted 50ks

My 940 had 50k which were original pots, switched to 500k and its much better sounding but a little bright so im going to 250 but the 500 is perfect in my x310 which had a unoriginal 250 on the volume and original 50k on the tone which I also switched to 500k

The MPC controls should be 150K. AFAIK they didn't make mistakes on those. But I am sure if you suspect anything it is worth a check. That value is difficult to find.

No it's not me. I "Had" 10 or so from mid 90's to early 2000's. Then I had no Electras for about 10 years until I picked up this 930.

Here is a photo of some of my MPC models. Missing the Outlaw Basses and the maple Outlaw.

Pretty impressive! I don't think I've ever owned more than 4 MPC's at the same time. In fact I start itching to sell when I own more than 5 or 6 guitars total, just don't like guitars sitting around not being played.

Arthur - when I retire would it be OK to come over and jam?

I've used this stuff for a couple years - it used to go by the name "guitar scratch remover". It's a nice polish and will take out some very light scratches but I've had less than stellar results on the super hard Electra finishes. I've had about the same results with Meguiars. Best thing about the product is the microfiber cloth. On some guitars it seems to do a great job - just not on any of mine.

Is that a coil tap I see on that real nice looking 930?

The Eternashine worked very well on the X930 and was awesome on 2 acoustics I bought recently! That not only is a coil tap, I'm 99.999999% sure it was a factory coil tap on later X930's.

I thought I had this guitar looking good with my normal process, the Eternashine and accompanying cloths were a quantum leap better! This one only taps the bridge pickup and it's quite noticeable.
