When are you gonna stop torturing us!!! The X910 is fantastic, you can see the grain right through the entire slab on the side of the guitar. As I understand it, they were one of the few Electras with a Mahogany Neck... an excellent piece. That's a great story too that you were able to find the donor MPC guitar for the electronics, and took the time to restore it back to original, I'm certain that was a tough job with all the wiring.

The module collection is Niiiiiiiiiiiice too! You can't take them with you man, you should at least rent them to me so I can post some audio clips, you know, for posterity sake and future generations of Electra collectors (is that laying it on too thick?). I could even put up one of my X935cs's for collateral, I'm just over here in Ann Arbor...

Seriously though, a really first-class collection with almost no duplicates (Guitars that is), which is a feat in itself with that many guitars. It's also amazing that there are still versions not in your collection, I mean how many different Models did they make? I lose count every time I try to on the index page, and we know there are a couple guitars (like the 2257) that are missing on there. Anyway, my hats off to you, a quarter of a century well spent if you ask me! Salute, Mike.

  8) :hyper: Ok now the secrets out and we know who ended up with the keys to the Electra factory. I am awe struck by your collection and can only hope and aspire to try and match at least a portion of it someday. Great to see the X910 brought back to life. Your sir are the Electra Guru. Awesome collection and hope to see more surprises. Thanks

I have two of the electra stomp boxes, mostly because of the logo's on them, paid around $60 each for them off the bay:

The Flanger is just ok, has an exaggerated mid frequency that I can't get used to. The Chorus on the other hand sounds pretty darn good. I've never seen one with the logo at an angle like that before.

Next photo request is for your Endorser... did you say it was a 'Blue'-burst?? Mike.

After looking again, it depends in the light. It is a blackburst, but in really bright light, it takes on a blue tint.

But it's one of the few that I know for sure the year.
