I just picked up a Vulcan X930 for 150 off some old privately owned country store and I was wondering what the average price for one of these is. It came wth 3 modules (overdrive, an octave box, and one that sounds like wiggly stuff lol ;-P) it also came with a case made for that particular guitar but its a [Edited by moderator].

Hello and welcome!

You got a good deal- Any MPC guitar is worth at least 200$, somewhere between there and $400 is a a fair guess, depending on condition. Modules are a bonus! But for sure, the market value of that guitar does not come close to matching its quality as an instrument, or the price of big-name guitars of equal quality. But that's the way it is, these guitars are still a great deal for the serious player.

Got pics?

I would have been thrilled to pay $150 for my X935, but it didn't work out quite that way. Nonetheless, for what I paid I got a MONTSER! Picking up that X930 for less than half what it is worth, nevermind the toy effects, is quite a bargain. Well Done!

Some of the modules are worth a little, and if you're not into the "wiggly stuff', let it go and reduce what you have in the guitar by that much more.

High end just means high end, not necessarily better. I'd put my X935 up against ANY Poor Rich Snot, and I'm positive the rich kid would go home with his tail between his legs. :D

So you don't have a high dollar guitar, you do have what many guys here would drool over, and at that price it's an even sweeter deal. Close your eyes when you play it, and you'd think it was high dollar. I have a hunch you'll end up like me and my X935. I know I would NEVER trade my X935 for even the top of the line Gibson. I like it that much, and know what I've got. :D
