Hi All,

I'm new to these boards, having stumbled in here after some ebay trolling for Electra guitars. Great site!

When I was 15 (back in 1977) I bought my first electric guitar... an Electra Omega tobacco sunburst with a maple neck. The guy at the shop told me there were only two of them made (don't know if that is true or not)... but she was darn pretty!

Of course, I sold it to get a 68 Les Paul (which I still have and love) but I sure wish I could have afforded to keep the Omega. Question, has anyone ever seen a similar model?

Hi Mike,

It was the x230 model, so maple neck and fretboard with black inlay... and then the tobacco sunburt.

She was a beauty! :D

Nope... not a refinish. It was as pristine as all the other brand new Omegas on the wall at that time.

An oddball, indeed. I only wish I could remember who I sold it to. :o
