I own an 82 Westone Thunder I Bass (Light Oak) and an 84 Westone Thunder I-A Bass (Black).

Cool. At least there will be a little more of an active site covering them. I'll contact the owner to see if they mind if I add a link to the site.

with the website authors permission?
I was thinking about making my own website at some point, do you no anything about the legalities of westone pictures borrowed without permission from ebay sellers and then publishing them online?

Technically you need permission. In practice the worst that can happen is that the owners ask you to take them down. So long as you aren't charging money or profiting somehow, there's no chance of getting sued for damages, why bother if you take them down when requested?
