hi ! , a friend of mine is seliing his Electra (model 2254), am just curious as the right price to pay him

he does not know how much its worth and has asked me to pay whatever its worth

i am hoping someone here could help me out

That's a Gold Top LP copy, right?

There's no sure answer on prices, except that they're always lower than what the instrument is 'worth' in musical terms compared to other instruments.

I'd do an advanced ebay search for completed items only, use 'gold*' and 'electra' as keywords- sellers probably won't know model numbers and the sticker is sometimes worn, missing, or ignored.

My guess is the answer will be 200-400$, but that's just a guess.

I will say that you'll certainly be happy with the instrument!

I basically agree. $150-$300, depending on the condition. I don't know if I'd go to $400 for a bolt-neck.
