Would this fit a Spectrum MX?

Hey Champ amp,

I do not believe it would fit an MX...

I just went down to measure my Thunder 2 case, which is pretty well beat up. The measurements of this gents auction are very very close to the Thunder case...

I have owned guitars in the FX series which are more strat scale longer guitars vs. the Thunder... I feel that there wouldn't be enough room in the upper bout area... I tried to squeeze in a Schecter C1+ (closer to strat proportions) and the upper bought was considerable larger than the case dimensions..


So I don't think you have a match here.. But it wouldn't hurt to do some measuring and contact the seller further.. Also these cases have very generous -1" padding all around the guitar. Perhaps with a razor or exacto knife you could do a little surgery to increase your portion size..

Thanks, after eval'ing the dimensions, I believe you're right. My Jazzmaster case works fine in a pinch so far. I bet any strat fit case could potentially work here.

i second that- i think it's a case for a Westone Concord or Thunder- look at how narrow and high the waist is. A Spectrum/Phoenix won't fit.
