Finally got the re-wiring completed on the '84 Silverstone Specturm. The bridge humbucker has definitely been replaced. It is not the same as the neck and is not like the '84 PB that has matching humbuckers. But, the good news is all switching works as original now! It sounds good. I think one of the pots is scratchy as I hear it through the amp. PB does not make that. Some tuner cleaner will hopefully take care of that!

I would like to find a Westone Magnaflux pickup for it. But for now it sounds fine. Oh, new knobs too. Just need to order a backplate from Allparts and it is done. However, both are under the Christmas tree now! Can't wait till a week from now when I can officially break them open for good! Thanks X189 for all the help and wiring diagram.

My son loves the SS Electra-Westone!

He acutally likes the darker color. So it worked out great! I got the Pearl Burst for Christmas and he got the reworked Silver Stone. It does sound good...
