congratulations!

It's a model we haven't heard of, but that's not surprising as Vantage was never very organized. We'd love it if you'd be willing to contribute your pics to the archives!

Hi Tonny,
It is a small world.
You bought the guitar from me. :)
I hope you will enjoy it. It is a lovely guitar with really hot Les Paul-like sound.
As I told you in the action or mail conversation, I had to sell it to afford buying PA equipment.
I'm also already having four Aria Pro guitars and now 2 Aria Pro basses, (and some Hagström guitars) and I think it is best to try to keep the guitars that feels most similar in the neck. It is easier when you are playing and shifting guitar if the string spacing and neck scale is the same. I have a feeling that the Vantage is a little bit more narrow between the strings than my Aria FS, RS and TS, or it may be the radius of the finger board. The Vantage feels a little bit different, just a tiny bit but enough to confuse me. Anyhow, it is a lovely guitar and I am sure you will have a long time friend in it.
I may have some more high resolution picks if you need.
Regards,
Magnus

A couple of months ago I promise to send the picks of my old Vantage VP710 that I sold to tonny.
As usual other things had to be done and it slipped my mind...

Please find pictures on: http://photobucket.com/albums/b56/mitri ... %20VP-710/

If the link do not work, please tell me.

You can also check out and use the pictures of my Arias on:
http://photobucket.com/albums/b56/mitril/Aria%20Family/
It is not complete. I will add my TS 500, RS-850 and FS-1000 as soon as I can.
And by the way, I will put my RS-X70 out for sale. I am deeply in love with an old Hagström Viking 12-string, and need to sell to make room for this guitar.
Magnus.

Nice guitar, it reminds me of the early 80's fixed neck Westones and Aria Pro II's, before they changed to a proper through neck design.

Yes, it's exactly the same neck joint as in an 84-85 X199 (Electra Phoenix/Westone Spectrum FX), same step, before it changed in 86 to the smooth neck joint.

Lovely guitar!
