The Electra Forums

It's sooo good to find this place ... and feel the shared love of these wonderful but often forgotten and ignored instruments.

I've been an Electra fan since my discovery of them in pawn shop buys during the early 90's.

At the moment, I own a 60th Anniversary issue 1981 Electra Phoenix X135, 1981-84 Electra Phoenix X150 and a slightly modified 1972-75 Electra Blues Rock Special 2270C. They are and always will be my main guitars. The 60th aniv one blew me away when I first played it. It fortunately needed little setup. Mostly just needed cleaned.

I used to own an X710 "Outlaw" that needed neck work I couldn't afford to have repaired. I wish now that I'd never sold it.

Two of my closest friends have Electra's and love them. We consider ourselves the Oklahoma Electra crew.
