How does one post a picture(s) to this sight and also how does one link to these pictures once they are posted from within a post?

you'll have to upload them to a hosting service such as photobucket, imageshack, etc.... (I don't use any of those, so I cannot give a recommendation as to which ones work the best)

once uploaded to the hostin service then you can copy and paste the URL into a post, and it will auto-create a link to the page you specified, or you can use the [IMG] button to give the direct address of the picture... which is usually obtained from right clicking on the pic and looking at the properties. (Windows)
