I just picked up a late 60's, possibly very early 70's Silvertone made in Japan project guitar. As near as I can tell, this Mosrite style guitar is a Teisco. The interesting thing is it has a headstock virtually identical to the Electra Wave, and the Silvertone predates the Electra by at least 5 years!

actually, the '60s Hofner beatle bass had the same wave...

and check this headstock out.... look familiar?
Distributed in the 60's by.... (read the bottom of the page...)

The Hofner headstock pointed the opposite way and was shaped slightly different, no?
