Hi all,

I'm the proud owner of an X-720 Outlaw and also just put an X-810 ES-335 on layaway at a local shop. I must say these MPC's are just too cool and I'm drooling over the X-810. Wanted to know if there are any other owners of the X-810. They seem to be pretty rare. This one has the Phase Shifter MPC module in it as does my X-720. I'm amazed by the build quality of these guitars. Anyway, glad to know of this site.

Chris

Welcome! Yep, they're great guitars! Hopefully the MPC fans can suggest answers to your questions.

Sure would like to see it!

If you don't mind me asking - how much did you give for it?

Here are some pics. I got it for 600.00 out the door. I normally wouldn't spend that much but I had to get this guitar because it's so well built and rare too. It has the best neck I've ever had the pleasure of playing! Someone switched the neck pick up backwards which I will be correcting asasp along with a string swap.

Hi Honkytone,

I have both the x810 and the x810N (I'd post pictures too if I could figure out how). The x810 is very minty. The x810N is a little rougher for wear but I had to get it once I got the first one. I think the natural is more rare. I also believe I first saw the x810s here in Leah's collection.

Enjoy,
Jeff

BTW does anyone know where I might get a clear pickguad for the x810N or if a generic one would fit?

A natural 810 just went for $809 + $35 shipping. The seller said it had some scratches and it was missing the strap button. It was missing a pickguard too. Although I think the sunburst ones look better, I guess the naturals are more rare. I think there was a sunburst with a $500 BIN last week.

I have an X810 also. I was wondering if they were worth anything. I need a way to put some photos of it on here.

how much value do you put into the air you breath? the food you eat? or the beer you drink? that is a priceless artifact from the past.
seriously though, e-bay has really made it difficult to put a value on these things. it all comes down to how bad someone wants it. for an excellent condition x810 you might say between 500 and 750. but on e-bay, value is not really where the auctions end. it's all about how bad the buyer wants it. i will say this, e-bay or not, i wouldn't sell my x810 for less than 1000, anfd even then i would feel like i was giving it away.

Hi all,
A good example of ebay insanity is the extremely high bidding on a recent Super Magnum. Some bidders fought it out and it went for over $950. Immediately after that, 2 other supermagnums went up for bid but no one bought them. One had a reserve over $900 which was never met. The other had a starting bid of $700 (I think) and got zero bids.
Most 810s seem to go between $600-$700 depending on the condition. Like Electrafan though, I wouldn't give mine up.
