 Post subject: Chris Squire's MPC bass

I am wondering if anybody could tell me which type of Outlaw bass Chris Squire is playing on. I noticed a different kind of configuration of his tone knobs on his bass, (his knobs are staggared, not in a single row) which doesn't look like what is on the standard models. Or is it? I haven't been able to quite match-up his bass to what I have seen elsewhere. Has his bass been up-graded, or is it off the shelf? Any feedback?

I don't have a picture available, but it can be seen in numerous places (i.e. You Tube has several concert video's with him playing his white MPC, as well as on his instructional video). If you have any ideas on which specific model this is, let me know. I haven't a clue.

It's the Outlaw MPC Bass (x-610 or x-620), but I believe he modified it a bit....

It may have also been modified originally for him at the factory...

I would really like to know what he has had done to his Outlaw, besides the finish. There are a couple of pics on the Syn site (synmusic.net) galleries that clearly show it.

In one of the pics on they Syn site, his bass has 2 extra switches, but the same pup layout.
