I've had this guitar for about twelve years. Unfortunately I have neither the time nor the discipline to become a real guitar player. I'm facing major auto repairs so must consider selling. I know y'all don't like people asking what a guitar is worth here, but this is the ONLY place I've been able to find out anything at all about it. I didn't even know what it was until I looked here a year or two ago. I don't like eBay & will not post it there, however if it's worth enough to make a start on the funds I need, I'd more than happy to post it here as reasonably as I can so that it gets a good home with someone who would appreciate it. As for the guitar it self- cosmetically, it has a small ding on the back of the neck, one of the tone knobs is cracked but still in one piece, there is some discoloration of the binding, and there is light pitting on some of the chrome. Electronically, the "vari-tone" switch is not loose, but it doesn't always make good contact unless you switch it to another position and back one or more times, otherwise everything works. I have pictures at http://homepage.mac.com/mrraydex/PhotoAlbum2.html . I can take more if needed & I'd be more than happy to provide y'all with any that you might want for the site. Thanks....

Thanks- I always thought so too. If I didn't need a transmission worse, I'd be keeping it. And I may be just be stupid, but I can't figure out how to upload the pictures to this site. If there's someone who can, I'd be happy to email them to 'em.

Nothing as of yet. I'm putting a Strat on the local craigslist this weekend. Hopefully that & a missed student loan payment or two will solve my problem, lol. I was able to go 14 years without a car until now and I'm realizing just how nice that was.

Since you asked about price, can anyone report what they've seen as far as ebay prices for a Studio Zephyr? I'm going to take a guess at $300-$500 as a ballpark, but I could be wrong on that.

The wave headstock makes it definitely Matsumoku-made, which is a good selling point. Nice to see one in good shape! (mine is way rough)
