This was my first electric guitar, and I really had a hard time finding anything out about it. It's not really in the greatest condition, it was something my dad bought at a yard sale a couple of years before I started playing. It pretty much just sat in storage until a few years ago. It's missing two knobs and the end of the pickup switch, and also the bigsby arm. I'm pretty sure the pickups are the originals, and I have no idea what they are. There are some scuffs on it that came from a young foolish me trying to intonate it and moving the bridge around. Other than all of that, the electrics work fine. Just thought I'd share.

Thanks for sharing them. I think you are right that it is PCM but there are others on this forum who know a lot more than I do. The speed knobs look fairly standard but be aware that they are coarse knurled. If you try and put a standard gibson know on you can break the pot. It looks to me like the bridge has intonation screws so moving the bridge should not be required. Are you only missing the plastic tip on the switch? If so I have a white one you can have. I think there have been discussions of replacements for the bigsby arm here if you do a search.

Yes, an Electra with an X on the headstock is definitely a PCM Electra. The black-on white logo is another sign. The pickups are similar to early Aria, and my guess has been that it's made by Kasuga, but that's by no means sure. HOw does it play? How solid is the neck?
