i had no idea a website like this existed for electra...this is pretty awesome...from what i found out by looking through the website i have a Phoniex X135NA...i got it in october of '89...it was the guitar i learned to play on...i still have it today...it was an early birthday gift...i always thought it was an off brand/generic until now...just can't seem to part with it...it came from a second hand guitar store...price was around $100-$125(i can't remember)they also threw in a 'gorilla' practice amp...i was ten years old...i picked it out because it had a "whammy" bar and i liked the natural look of it...it's had a little wear and tear over the years but i still love it and it still rocks...i had a custom pick guard made for it because the wood was getting worn...i was wondering if someone could tell me what year it was made and where i could(or if you even can)get an origanal case for it...serial #4040331...i tried to attach some pictures but it wouldn't let me or i wasn't doing it right...anyway this is great...thanks

Great to hear about it, that serial number indicates April 84, the latest of any X135 I've heard of. and you say it has a pickguard, rather than rings? We'd love to see pics.

Electra cases are around, they show up on ebay occasionally. A standard strat case will also fit.
