Hello!

I have to say you that i am spanish and here the schools are very badly in inglish.....and i am a badly student

I need information about buy a old electra here in spain.....i only thing that this guitar was made in japan.......and his old guitarrist installs a bigsby......i dont have aa idea about the wood (mahagony?), pickups, bridge, tuners .........

The Bigsby appears to be using the stock Electra bridge instead of a roller type bridge and I bet not only does it not work properly its gotta break a lot of strings.

Actualy it is an X290 not an X280. The 280 is natural and the 290 is black. Nice guitar (I have one). I got mine for only $65 but that was a very good buy. They usualy go for $125-175 or so. I agree with stommer that the bdrige would cause problems. I would either replace it with a roller bridge or get rid of the Bigsby and replace the stop piece, they are readily avaialble and cheep.
