I've just bought a Studio Zephyr through the mail. Sounds nice, plays great, but I've never seen pickups with hollow pole pieces..they look like small shiny tubes.are these original, or have I just lost all my loose screws!! Guitars in the shop for cleaning, chips, etc. but can post pictures later if anyone is interested. thanks, Rich

I have seen pivkups with open polepieces, but always on bass. I own one, and can try and get pictures.
Usually they arent regular screws or a lack thereof, but set screws you adjust with an Allen wrench.
But pictures would be helpful.
