i have a 1982 x935 endorser 60th anniversary commemorative model, purchased new at Hoevett's Music in hastings, nebraska. it has a translucent black finish, gold plated hardware, brass control cavity covers, push-pull tone pots for coil tap and phase, and the 60th anniv. plaque on the headstock. i've played this axe on the road in several bar bands (country, blues. classic rock) since i've had it, and except for minor battle wounds, it's still an awesome instrument.
i am interested in any information, history, original owner's manual. new original-style hardshell case, etc.

I'm not sure if you have been by Electraman's site yet but the Endorser, Pro Endorser are covered there. The 60th anniversary may not be. SLM released a few Westone anniversary models also. It sounds like other than the color of the finish and the plaque it is like my X935CS Pro Endorser.
