That looks like a huge show, wonder if he'll get the attention of Vintage Guitar magazine which always does a write up on NAMM. I still don't know how Mr. Chafin got the rights to the Electra name when it seems like many recent Crates use the Electra name.

From an email I received from Ben Chafin on 01/19/2010:

NAMM went well. I was able to talk to several manufacturers from Korea and China. They are factories that I have worked with before and the quality is very good.
We are still having issues with the trademark. Mainly with companies that have Electra in their name. They are in a different class of trademark but are in the music industry.
My lawyer seems confident that it will be resolved in the next few months. Because of that we decided it would be best to not show any Electra guitars until we have it totally secure.
It is killing me.... my lawyer says to just be patient! It will happen.
I flew the redeye back last night and have been up for over 30 hours....I need a nap!!

I've been scouring the search engines and youtube for any video showing Ben's booth at NAMM. So far I haven't found any.
