I still don't know the model no. on this.. (any help would be amazing!)... and I will take better pics showing the electronics (I'm REALLY proud of them!). Anyway... here is my baby after playing a sweaty basement show.





- '66 Vox Buckingham 2x12 cab
- '78 Holmes Mississippi Bluesmaster 50w Head

- 'Black Dog'
- Electronics are sort of similar to an Explorer. I have added the coil-tap and made it so that there is only one tone knob (the switch for the coil-tap is where the second tone knob would be). Both of the pick-up's are Bridge position pick-up's (I wanted it that way) so that I could experiment with reversing the polarity (turned out WAY better than expected! The red pick-up is a Seymour-Duncan Super Distortion and the black one is a Seymour-Duncan Invader. I've never had a guitar that I have loved this much! THANKS ELECTRA.

Concerning the model number, if it is a SLM product as X189 said in an earlier post, it is either the Super Rock 2242 (Bolt-on Black with Gold hardware) or Super Rock 2244 (Bolt-on Black with Chrome hardware). Since all the original hardware seems to have been replaced, I'd call it a 2242 in lieu of all the upgrades!

That's a cool little head you've got there, and it looks like you're thoroughly enjoying the 'Black Dog'. I think like 20 different members got guitars this year, it's been a good year for acquisitions!
