Now I've got a pretty nice pair....Electra and Ibanez, great guitars both. The original pups came with the Electra.

Very nice pair of axes you have there. The Ibanez guitars are very nice also but I prefer the Electra brand more. The Ibanez is an outstanding quality also and they have a widw variety of models also. They look great together. Congrats and enjoy.

The Ibanez 2350G has a bit thinner neck profile than the 2254 and a bit more quality in the build with painted neck to match. It's also faster, however, I haven't had the chance to do much set-up work with the Electra yet. It IS fun though...like it is, runnin 10's I think. I can't compare the tones because of these hot Duncan SH-2s. And I enjoy the way they sound...so I'll probably leave 'em in for a bit.

I spoke with the guy a bit and would have bought that guitar had he not been so iffy about packing and shipping. Wouldn't...would....wouldn't....who knows.

Interesting side-by-side comparison there. It's too bad that Electra's suppliers couldn't seem to get the color right, all of these 70's LP's look like Tan-tops instead of Gold-tops to me. Good snag.
