You ever had a guitar that, for one reason or another, you just couldn't bond with? I have a great playing and sounding 05 LPC with a solid hs repair (non issue but for resale) that I just couldn't get used to because of the neck shape. Big necks are fine with me, but they've either got to have a V or narrow-shouldered C shape. This had huge shoulders, so I never played it. Well, I just traded it for these 2: a beat up (and red rattlecan 'improved'?) 82 Greco copy of a Hamer Standard (dig the binding, switch ring, and traps: all vintage Hamer-style) and a 77 X-410 Jazz Strad in awesome condition. I had to share with somebody! I hope he doesn't get mad that I use his pics and links, but that's only because we haven't actually traded yet. He's out of town, to be back the weekend of the 4th. That Greco can be cleaned up, no problem. I can't frickin WAIT!

Great looking axes. You will find that the X410 is a stunner and a great player. I play mine on a daily basis along with the elvin and they are hard to put down once you begin to play. Congrats on the score.
