Here she is, great action and no functional problems. Very good condition. Biggest thing is that discoloration at the upper bass bout top binding. It's definately "in the finish". Wonder what caused that.

And here's all my MAPLE BOYS together now....

8) They look great together and show off the great variety and craftsmanship of the Electra lineup. Congrats on another fine Electra

She's a Beaut JD. My Maple Pro is out of the case all the time, probably my favorite bedroom axe. I think that's five or six of us on the Forum that have one now (maybe more? Pipe up guys!), one of the purty-est Guitars they made. Enjoy it, Mike.

What a killer set! I would gladly trade playing half a song in the wrong key for those inlays :)

The Maple Pro and Elvin inlays are actually pretty sweet, the leafs (and flowers) lining up with the 'typical' fret markers. The X810s and Magnums on the other hand have fairly 'whimsical' patterns that don't always line up with the regular fret markers.

Additionally, I have two Electras with the Tortoise-Shell binding on the neck, which makes it all but impossible to see the fret markers on the top of the neck in the binding.... sometimes things look better on paper than in reality. I'm sure that the Manufacturers or Designers were trying to give those instruments a special 'luxury' look, but in practice it doesn't really help the player out.
