The Electra Forums

Hello there I hope everyone is doing well, I wanted to drop folks a line and say hey and introduce myself. My name is MAD 45, a fellow musician, artist and Electra fan....I am a new member to the forum...but not new to the Electra brand. About 30 years ago, I purchased my first electric guitar after working hard at odd jobs and delivering newspapers etc....That guitar was the infamous Electra Phoenix X189....I still own it and play it often and still love it!!!

More recently I have been working on a new music project titled MAD 45....working with my Electra X189, other Electra Phoenix models and some other guitars that I have picked up over the years.

For what it is worth I thought some of you Electra fans might get a kick out of these two videos of me with my Electra Phoenix models....

Also on that site you will find other videos for the MAD 45 project, including a few of me making my art cars. I have been making art cars for the past 15 years, exhibiting them around the country and more recently making fun/funny music videos with them.....for those that don't know, an art car is when you make art directly onto an automobile. I have made 20 different art cars over the years, by myself, with special needs kids and youth from different backgrounds etc....

While the music may not be your cup of tea, I know that the Electras will be....and maybe some of the art cars as well......I am wishing you all well and love the many contributions that folks have made to the forum...it is a wealth of information, creativity and fun!!!....
