I have had an Electra Omega for 18 years in as near mint as you can find one.My son now wants to play it and has tried to find information on it. We have both hit a wall. We can find no information ON the Model X2w or its serial Number 13907. It looks like an x210 But the brass tag on the neck clearly says Model X2w. I bought it from a friend at Honeywell who bought it new and with his band made many recording ( all faith based songs) here in the tampa bay area with this guitar. Any body out there have an idea the x2w stands for or information on the serial number would be great..Thanks

Welcome aboard. A picture speaks a thousand words my friend, post some on here, including the tag and we'll share what we can. The five digit Serial Numbers (and really anything on the foil tags or anniversary plates) are basically useless for dating Electra's. We'll give you a ballpark number within a couple of years based on the headstock shape, which will have to suffice. In the Omega line, the model number basically indicated the finish color, although there were slight hardware differences, opaque or clear pickguards, and your Black Version having the Block markers as opposed to the Trapezoid markers used on basically all the other models.
