Hey guys....my Rock Strad arrived in great shape. I am very pleased with it. This guitar sounds absolutely G R E A T !! And looks really good. It's been well cared for, John was apparently tellin it like it was about it's lack of use over the years. NO beltbuckle art, no dings, dents, scratches, scrapes, chips...nothing but shiny finish. Beautiful......and those marks we discussed a bit in the other thread are apparently flaws through the natural flame. Doesn't even look like adhesive or moisture residue beneath the finish....appears totally natural and totally smooth.

What do you think....a good pair?

Those should make it into the Coffee Table book JD, just stunning. Now stop it already and save some for the rest of us! Mike.

Pro...are you kiddin? ME save some.....you need to get on Arthur's case about saving some. :D And Dave, who has around 80 or so, and Guitrials with 50+.....man, I have to scratch around and snatch 'em up when I can. :x

Oh, and by the way....Dave has a pair of MINT carved set necks that are absolute beauties. He's posted some pics over on the ICW forums...this thread:

JD -

That's a great looking X110;

I shoulda kept the one I bought new in 1976 ............

It was an earlier model - like yours - with the open book headstock.

I traded it in on my X340 in 1977.
