Have a look at the pics....pretty good shape except:

Battery left in long enough to corrode the nearest cover screw and insert.....I broke it tryin to loosen it up. My replacement looks OK though.

Battery terminal wires and terminal has to be replaced....trip to Radio Shack soon.

I really like it....the action is astoundingly good and it sounds wonderful as is.

Very nice indeed, thats a beauty. Congrats on the score. Must be a finish issue on these models with the headstocks as mine also has the haze look on the front of the headstock. Mine also has the original case so maybe it was a reaction from sitting in the case so long. I have tried to polish it and clean it to no avail but it is no major issue. Guitar plays great and has a great resonance and tone even unplugged. The only distraction is the thumbscrew MPC cover. The thumbscrews are a bit uncomfortable when playing and make it much harder to do a quick change on the MPC modules. I will say that they do offer a secure closure and you do not have to worry about the cover door opening up when the guitar is moved etc. Enjoy it. It will be hard to put down once you start playing so enjoy it.

Hey Jead....if you mean the original case with this guitar, yep...I got it. I also grabbed one off eBay recently too....a brown one.

Yep- Those rectangular Electra case are BATTLESHIPS. You need your Wheaties to carry them around.

You made out better than I did. My X340 needed a new bridge, tailpiece, and a complete fretjob. It's now a thousand-dollar guitar.
