Any sources available for Electra guitar cases unique to body styles??

Hey tekmahn...none that I know of other than eBay, Craigslist, and here on the forums. They're difficult to run across.

This case seems to work really well with my X330 (bat switches and all). It also fits my X730 Outlaw perfectly. In fact it should be a just about perfect fit for any LP or Outlaw (I'll try it with my powered EQ and let you all know how that works). It's actually a pretty nice case - good arch top, and seems to be solidly constructed. I highly recommend it especially at the $40 price + free shipping.

I'm certain they are made in China, and I hate Chinese junk more than the next guy, but I have two MPCs that currently have no case at all and one where the vintage case is all but dead.

There's a big Made In China tag inside the storage compartment. I cut it off and now I can't tell where it's made. I'm not trying to be flip about it. If I could get a case as well made and at or near the same price from a USA manufacturer - I would.

The X270 does not fit - The guitar is a bit too long - With some coaxing it would go but I'm not going to do that. Jack, let me know what you think when yours arrive.

For the record:

* I don't wear Chinese clothing. You have no idea how difficult that is to accomplish. Shoes are the toughest part.

* I don't have any Chinese appliances in the house. Even my silverware is made in the USA.

* My furniture was all made in the USA or Italy.

* I won't buy a Chinese guitar.

I'm not a fan of supporting that oppressive, frankly evil regime. In this case, so to speak, I want to get these Electras out of the light and into a case, but I don't feel great about it.
