I've been looking at the model index on the old pages and the solid black 935 has 2 mini toggles and apparently no push pull. The CS has push pull and no mini toggles. I believe the blackburst is just like the CS. Can anyone shed some light on the different configurations I'm seeing?

Other than the 2 mini switched the main difference was the neck cut outs. The 935CS has the later heel or bevel style while the mini switch model has the standard set neck style.

Are the mini's coil taps? I'm assuming yes.

The picture you're referring to is old and misidentified, more than a few threads about it. I believe it is a X210 (last version with the one and a half cutaway), it is not an Endorser.

From what I can figure out, there are three versions of the Endorser; 1) Early Blackburst 2) Later Blackburst 3) Cherry Sunburst

The early Blackbursts have no belly cut on the back, Peacesign logo on headstock, logo tuners and bigger Dot fret markers. Happy Hunting, Mike.

AHA! I never realized the body shape was changed on the X210. Did they do that with the other Omegas as well? What in the world are double coil 50 Magnaflux pickups? MMK's produced between the 45's and 53's?
The feature set pretty much vaults an X210 way up on my list. I prefer the 3 way switch as opposed to rotary, and I prefer the 1-1/2 cutaway over anything. Coil taps are a bonus. Now I'll have to deal with OmeGAS!

Interesting that the early Blackburst did not have the belly cut. So many Electra variations make things interesting.

I just scored an x210 off of Ebay. The guitar is basically a Pro Endorser with the following exceptions....

Although it is a set neck construction, the heel is an old fashioned step heel, not smooth like the x935
The color is Solid Black, not see thru like the black x935
The coils are split with two mini switches, not push pulls
The pups are MK53's (both of them)

The guitar has brass nut and bridge and a peace sign logo....

This is actually the second one of these I have seen in the last couple of years....

What confuses me is that this guitar is marked under the laquer with the model number and serial number, so I know its a x210...however, its NOT an Omega and I dont see where it even is a derivitive of an Omega...there is no tone circut at all...

Its a great guitar, but Im just confused at the model number......

It's the last guitar on that page, you can even see the set neck heal, kinda. I don't think there were any other finishes besides Black offered. You're right that the signature feature of the Omega line, the Tone Spectrum circuit, has been omitted.

Within a short time there would no copy style guitars being marketed by Electra, they're trying to gain some identity with their original designs and shed that copy stigma. The one and a half cutaway body would be their 'Gibby' and of course the Phoenix is the Fender style with a half dozen different pickup combinations. Even the X420 Custom Pro with no sound holes, controls in a different orientation and a smaller body would be considered an original body style by todays standards, and is the last Semi Hollow they made, and only one by this time. One thing about Electra, especially with the number of models over the years... they never stood still.

I saw that X210 and corresponded a bit with the seller - I thought at first it was a 935 until I got schooled by proendorser. I prefer the 3 way switch. That style of 210 is really right up my alley. Congrats.

This just doesnt make any sense to me at all. This guitar has nothing in common with an OMEGA....I have to think that somewhere there was a misprint on the model number or they recycled the Omega number. The Omegas have a trussrod cover that says Omega...the x210 has the old pineapple TRC on it.......If Electra wanted this guitar to be an Omega or a derivitve , why wouldn't have an Omega TRC ?...anyway the guitar has a few minor issues _the two switches were removed and holes plugged with plastic plugs and the seller replaced the original solid brass bridge with a shoddy Korean bridge and the brass nut with a bone one, but was nice enough to include the originals in the case-they both shined up very nicely with some steel wool....Im currently trying to source those little silver mini paddle switches-but it sould be an easy restore....

Radio Shack has the switches. - He drilled out the one mini switch to put the volume pot in so you might need a larger washer.
