Hey guys!

I may be coming up on an opportunity to purchase an x145vs in the not too distant future.

Our archive pages state that this is the only model in a traditional sunburst finish. Is that confirmed fact or just commonly held knowledge?

How many other types of "bursts" did Electra produce? Thanks.

If you're talking about the entire line, there are tons of different sunbursts. Within the Phoenix series alone there are at least:

Stain burst
Blue Burst
Red Burst
Pearl? Burst

And yeah, you may be right as far as a traditional three tone yellow/brown/black sunburst... that may be the only model. The ones listed above are an acquired taste... they don't look like American type bursts at all, you either like 'em or kinda gulp when you see them (especially the Red 'pink' burst models... yikes). I seem to remember some reverse bursts too, like they were lighter on the outside and the dark color was in the center, they were not afraid to experiment I guess.
