Got some spare time today to update the database and got all the Electras together for the first time...

Had to get one extra of the trio. Thanks a million again, JD.

Pretty small potatoes to most collections 'round these pages, but we like 'em nonetheless.

Have I ever mentioned I have a real weak spot for Antique Finishes???? Those are beauties but sadly you appear to be missing an Elvin. I know where you might find one.

At various times I've had 5 of the exact same models in your pic - now I'm down to just the 2 on the left.

That's a real nice representation of Electra's. Add a Tele, SG and an X140 and you'd have all the major food groups covered.

nice! on the antique bursts as well... my 2229 is more like that than the "sunburst" the catalogue designated it to be....

Steve, even your 7 makes my 5 Electras seem small. Plus you have a lot better selection of higher models than I. Rock on!

Well not to Hijack this thread but since those Antique finish models looked so nice I thought I would share another nice finish set offered by Electra that I also like, lest we forget the Jacaranda Finish models and the Stripe models

WOW Art! Those are very beautiful guitars. I am still amazed at the craftsmanship that goes into the Electra line! I am enthused about bidding on that Elvin on ebay so I can get me somma that! You sure take nice care of your collection. :)

Thanks again for the compliment. I enjoy playing and takeing care of all of my collection but it just seems to take longer to get around the rotation these days as a result of past egas attacks. The Quality and craftsmanship shine on their own and these are all well built Guitars. Even the rough ones can be made to look good again with the right care and a little time and TLC.

Great looking axes Arthur -

Should we start a Jacaranda thread?
