I have a vintage Omega and the tuners are starting to not keep the guitar in tune anymore. What replacement tuners can I use to fit the original holes of the previous tuners? I have seen those new Schaller 'see thru" tuners. Will those fit the bill?

Thanks in advance

Are you certain its the tuners? I have infinitely more issues with strings kinking at the nut, strings not being stretched out enough, even minor kinking at the saddles than with tuners of any era or make. Most tuners also have an adjustment at the button (the part that turns) for more friction if needed.

There are a number of products out there for lubrication of the bridge or nut, the stuff I use is made by Big Bends, but you could use just about anything before going to the length of changing out the tuners. Just my two cents. Good Luck, Mike.
